MANAGER COMMUNICATION & DOCUMENTATION
Report to the General Manager Operations and Promotional Strategies and provide guidance to Project Management and Education Department. Major responsibilities include support in content based documentation, planning project activities and report writing; developing analytical/ process reports, presentations, and communication & advocacy material; assistance in design & development of baseline studies. Assist in development & review of Education Plans. Work closely with counterpart in support organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing participatory methodologies to implement project activities
  • Support Project Management team in planning, scheduling & compilation of reports
  • Assist in designing school, village, union council, tehsil & district education plans
  • Responsible for developing progress, process & analytical reports, education plans, presentations and case studies
  • Assist in developing communication plan & strategy and material
  • Support the implementation of awareness & communication strategies
  • Assist in project monitoring & evaluation exercises
  • Assist the Project Coordinator in other project activities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Knowledge Areas     

  • Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)
  • National Education Policy, Education Sector Reforms, National Plan of Action on Child Labor
  • Decentralization in education
  • Participatory approaches, techniques & tools and research methodologies
  • M&E approaches, techniques & tools in development sector
  • Master degree in social science
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social development
  • Minimum 26 years of age

Skills

  • Excellent communication, reporting & presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Understanding of databases, and ability to develop process & analytical reports
  • Command over computer skills i.e. Word/ Excel / Power Point / email communication, working knowledge of database concepts
  • Understanding of education planning at grass roots & district level
  • Ability to manage the team effectively
  • Ability to identify HRD requirements
  • Ability to develop working relationship with government officials
  • Ability to work with children & other stakeholders at community level
